iCRAG to attend the National Ploughing Championships

iCRAG will attend this year’s National Ploughing Championships on 22nd  September in Ratheniska, Co. Laois.

iCRAG will be at the dedicated Science Foundation Ireland stand and will be delivering a special geoscience workshop entitled Rock Solid Science. The workshop will be delivered by Dr Aisling Soden (UCD) and Dr Aoife Braiden (GSI).

iCRAG Director takes part in Scientist and Oireachtas member pairing scheme

Prof. John Walsh, iCRAG Director, is currently partaking in the Scientist-Minister pairing scheme. The scheme is a collaborative project between the Royal Irish Academy and the Houses of the Oireachtas, with funding support from the Geological Survey of Ireland and the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland.
